Al-Masad

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1

   تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ ۝١

   May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he

2. 2

   مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ ۝٢

   His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained

3. 3

   سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ ۝٣

   He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

4. 4

   وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ ۝٤

   And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood

5. 5

   فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ ۝٥

   Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber
